What can you expect?

Your medical professional will recommend the proper number of units and injections per injection site. The process takes around 30 to 45 minutes. It starts with cleaning and disinfecting the skin, followed by sectioning it and marking it with 1.5 to 2 cm boxes.

How-to prepare

Avoid shaving underarms 24 hours before the appointment. Shaving can cause micro-tears on the skin that cause irritation. You should also avoid using deodorant 24 hours before the appointment. Just make sure to clean the area with soap and water right before leaving the house to go to the appointment.

Expected downtime

Botox® injections are minimally invasive, which means that patients can return to normal activities fairly soon.
